Short Summary: In a dystopian world where Praedators—dangerous, virus-transformed humans—plague society, the story follows MC, an enforcer immune to the virus, and Rafayel, a former opera singer turned Praedator with memory loss. MC is tasked with supervising Rafayel, who, despite his transformation, retains a sense of humanity and forms a complex bond with her. As they navigate their uneasy alliance, Rafayel’s past as the lead in Siren’s Song resurfaces, and MC learns of the corrupt origins of the Praedators, created by the corporation Ever. Rafayel, now the leader of the Praedator group Flowin’ Fire, struggles with his identity and desires, ultimately seeking to reshape the world into a "paradise" for Praedators. MC, torn between her duty and her growing affection for Rafayel, vows to save him, even as the city descends into chaos.

In the happy ending, MC discovers Rafayel’s "Activator," a device that calms Praedators, and they escape together to start a new life by the sea, free from the corruption of Linkon. Rafayel plans to open an art gallery, fulfilling MC’s dream of a joyful future for him. In the bad ending, MC fails to find the Activator, and Rafayel, consumed by his Praedator instincts, locks her away, vowing to keep their promise of being together forever, even if it means trapping her in a life of captivity. The story explores themes of identity, freedom, and the blurred lines between humanity and monstrosity, culminating in a poignant tale of love and sacrifice.

TIMELINE NOTES: Alternative Linkon City. They are a bit “hostile” towards each other in the beginning, but develop feelings. It seems like the beginning of romantic feelings, and by the end of the card they confess and live together in the happy ending so I consider this card as going through Darling-Lover-Devotion in one go. I chose to place in the darling level because they do take a while to become a couple in it, despite the tension, and also decided to place it after Fragrant Dream because of MC’s dreams and the whole fragrances and dreams references in the card. Just remember how they are together by the end. The event happens after before the endings.

Praedators discuss how they are viewed by society and they want to create havoc, MC is captured by them. She was in the Southern Distric to gather information, but things went south.

Rafayel appears and calmly tells her attackers to get lost, they run. He gets her ID from the floor and reads the information, he says he knows he’s looking for Tamino, he asks if he’s going to be arrested again.

Linkon’s crime rate has risen to 70% by Praedators, and the IEDs, a program against them was invested on. This program creates robots to deal with the Praedators, and they need subjects.

ONE YEAR AGO

She is called by a co-worker to talk about the new measures agains the Praedators. A test subject will be chosen and she’ll supervise him.

MC is immune to the virus, but she’s kept it a secret from everyone for her own safety. She was chosen because she grew up in the Southern District.

She takes Rafayel’s file, she learns that he was an opera singer and he was the lead in Siren’s Song, [in our universe he did played one as well in his anecdote called Siren’s Song].

He was injured 2 years ago and became a Praedator and now suffers from memory loss. Her colleague tells her he’s not dangerous but he was implanted with control devices for pacification, and she’s the one who control it.

Rafayel has escaped, and MC’s first mission is to find him. She follows his tracker into an alley. There, he asks her for change, taking the handcuffs from her. She grabs the chain of his neck and gives him the yogurt he was trying to buy: Honeydew.

He tells her to be careful going home, since it’s almost night and there’s a blood donation van around, Praedators will come.

He says goodbye and appears around the roof “farewell, walking buffet”. The other Praedators appear near her, she doesn’t have enough bullets to stop them all. She offers Rafayel 5 yogurt drinks, he appears on top of a car. They settle on 20 bottles and extra free time outside everyday.

When MC’s bullets are gone, he places himself in front of her. Using his evol, he cleanses the Praedators. He reads her info: “It’s time for you to keep your promise. Scratch that, you’ll be my dear supervisor”.
