From Beyond Cloudfall
Sylus doesn't respect people's beliefs in heroes. It suggests that he might be a reluctant savior or a force that exposes and dismantles societal corruption. This is clear in his Anecdote and suggested confrontation with EVER.
Possible options for his dragon's name that MC misheard:
The connection between the 108 ways humans tried to kill him and the N109 Zone suggests a theme of transcendence (108+1) and overcoming mortal limitations or all previous methods. It may also be a hint to the fact that MC killed him on the 109th time. However, Sylus is not the one who gave the name to N109 Zone. Land of Lost line "The N109 Zone is about to greet its new ruler" is the evidence for it.
The concept "We would instinctively want to devour each other" started with their mutual desires — she wanted his eye, and he wanted her soul. Voices in MC’s mind and the dragon's curse pushed them toward this urge. This theme of devouring continues throughout their interactions, suggesting future situations where life might push them to devour each other.
Sylus develops healing problems after MC stabs him with her sword. His healing issues might also come from sharing half of his soul with her, losing "half of his ability" to recover. That may explain why he wants her to tend to his wounds so often in the main story — he needs her presence and care to heal.
Their peaceful life in the chapel and time in the datura flower field were MC's dreams or visions they shared, reflecting the life she wished for them. Given Sylus's stunted development and past traumas, it's unlikely he created these visions himself, as he wouldn't have known such a life was possible. Instead, MC likely showed him what they could have — except in the datura field, where he may have taken control. Sylus probably knew these were dreams but chose not to tell her. Only their capture and separation happened. Some think the Legion's arrival cut off their kiss scene, leaving MC confused about what was real and what was just a nightmare.
Their meetings in the courtyard behind the ruined Sanctuary are also spiritual/vision-like rather than physical. She experiences his presence through their soul connection, and visits are real to her but likely not visible to others. Their bond allows her to sense/see him while others cannot.
Sylus's ability to summon the sword is tied to their soul exchange, as the blade reacts to MC's half of her soul within him. When MC embraced her "end," Sylus took hold of her hand and used the sword to pierce his own chest, resisting his cursed fate as a dragon. (source Meow-loved Her Meowjesty)
In story 05, players choose between two options, each giving a different meaning to the forehead kiss:
Your love.
"When humans fall in love, they want to kiss it. Maybe... dragons feel the same way."
Your soul.
"…That means someone is willing to entrust their soul to another."
"Sylus… I curse your soul… I curse your soul… To never fade away… You'll always be tied to me. Forever. This is my curse… Only I can… Grant you a true death." — MC Profound and complex emotional state. She was doomed to be alone because she knew it was her fault (source Neither_Cry_1501). That curse keeps Sylus's soul from dying. It can be seen as a paradoxical act that combines both love and punishment.
"Black-Red Mist drifts from their bodies. It travels along the dragon's horns to his tail before entering the wound in the young man's chest". — Narrator, MC's vision of Syus's past
The Brooch he gave MC is probably made from the stone on his chest.
Sylus's rebirth with half a human soul allows him to experience new emotions and sensations, highlighting the transformative power of their bond and the influence of MC's soul on his character. His fascination with music and sensitivity to taste, touch, and beauty could be the influence of half of her soul. (source SleepyEntity)
There was an opinion that "they both killed people during their raids" (source Sufficient-Spirit520), which I do not believe to be true. MC and Sylus weren't inherently "bad," but rather were victims turned rebels who chose their targets and fought a corrupt system. To seek justice against corruption, they targeted specific oppressors. They did not engage in violence against civilians.

The "MAIN SEQUENCE PERIOD" ****label implies a significant phase in the life cycle of stars, characterized by the process of hydrogen fusion into helium in their cores.
If Deepspace Vortex is the in-game name for a Black Hole, then it opens the door to a lot of astrophysical information about space-time.
The name of the Starship "Tartarus" is associated with the myth's Tarus City - both are prisons. This same location in different dimensions creates a cyclical imprisonment theme. This suggests a possible imprisonment in the current timeline.
Starship Tartarus
Tarus City
:author: But why does English localization have the city name Tarus? Chinese has also different names: 塔尔城 - 塔尔塔洛斯. Japanese and Korean localizations both have it as Tartarus.
"The empty stage, now the show replay. The outlaw again celebrates this encounter in fate" — :song-lyrics: They died, emptying the stage. Then reborned to repeat the cycle of fate. The outlaw refers to Sylus himself. Their reunion in the present timeline will probably be a repeat of what already happened. But is this their first time repeating this cycle, or have they met across countless timelines?
